In 2004 my father and i travelled to Niagara Falls in Toronto Canada. We stayed at the Hotel Delta which was a 3 star accommodation; we travelled by coach from our Hotel and arrived at Niagara within the hour. Before we visited Niagara we were divided into two groups, our group was the first to experience the ride of a lifetime in a helicopter. As you can see from the picturesque scenes above, Niagara itself was absolutely breath taking, if you listen carefully to the Falls you can only describe the sound as thunder. In history the local people have always named Niagara Falls as Thunder Mountain. If you thought the helicopter was a ride of a lifetime then my next experience was a scare of a lifetime, THE CN TOWER!!! This is the tallest free standing building in the world; it takes 58 seconds to climb the staggering 1,815 ft at 15mph to reach the peak of its dizzy heights. The Glass Floor has been specifically designed for the CN Tower. It is 256 square feet of solid glass that is five times stronger than the required weight bearing standard for commercial floors. It could actually withstand the weight of 14 large hippos. At the top is a 360 degree revolving restaurant, the floor takes 72 minutes to complete a full rotation, overlooking the whole of Toronto. Only managed to get a picture of a smaller tower by the side of Niagara but gives you the same idea of the sheer scale of its magnitude.
